The April Fair was yet another year an exceptional hostess for those who, coming from the five continents, seek in the spring of Seville to ingratiate themselves with life.

Natives and visitors allowed themselves to be dragged by the whirlwind of colours that takes over the Real for eight days, with its suns and moons. It is difficult to escape the beauty of the mornings with the Paseo de Caballos, a continuous parade through the streets of the enclosure of magnificent specimens of the equine race, mounted by riders and amazons dressed in short, or majestically pulling the different types of carriages, some autochthonous, others proud of exihibir with their names their foreign origin: landau, milord, break. And enjoying so much beauty, either walking through the streets, or in the booths -the “home” where the Sevillians receive their guests-, adults and children, many wearing flamenco costumes.

There families and friends eat and drink, acquaintances and those who have just greeted each other, in an atmosphere of joy that crosses borders – the Fair is an event of International Tourist Interest – and fulminate the sorrow of the spirit. Until the sun goes down and the thousands of lit lanterns turn the place into an ascue of light for young people and adults to give the baton to adults and children and dawn at dusk. Dances and songs in the booths, delicious delicacies on the tables, fine wine and chamomile in the throats, flowers in the hair, love in the looks, smiles on the lips… An offering to the senses that turns each moment into an unforgettable memory. Imagining it excites To live it…
